Focusing mostly on N64 right now and dabbling in some ps1. One of my favorite features of Retroarch is the per game controller recaps
I did some setup so that when I launch the game from launchbox / bigbox it auto loads the roam in Retroarch and Retroarch automatically applies my saved remap files
My only issue is that when setting up controls for 4 player games which is a lot of them, it’s confusing and a slow process
Having to go through line by line for all 4 controllers to make sure they are setup identical and remember to get the correct x- and plus axis leaves room for errors
Is there some tool or other GUI to create these remap files Retroarch can see that might be more straightforward?
I’ve got 200+ games left to do and most will need custom recaps thanks to the weird n64 controller and it’s c buttons. It’s really important the controls are all done and universal for 4 players so that games with the kids are straightforward
