How to benchmark shader?

Is there some option to run full possible speed fps to benchmark shader performance? Thought to press space but better ask, maybe there is some better option in the menus.

performance is going to vary based on the resolution of what you’re running it on, since it runs the shader on every single pixel. A good option, though, is to take a non-GPU screenshot (i.e., one at native resolution for the core) and then open that screenshot with the built-in imageviewer core. Hit spacebar and it will run as fast as it can.

Ok did it here are the results on my modest laptop (quad core AMD, 6gb RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7660G ) using imageviewer and a 320256 image. Running on 12801024 monitor
