I have the latest version of retroarch installed, And I am trying to download some cores but no luck. I tried the Online updater > Core updater, And it says downloading index… then no entries to display. Same thing when I try Load core > Download a core. Also I tried to visit http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/ to update the cores manually, But i get this message: This site can’t be reached, buildbot.libretro.com took too long to respond.
I just updated today and I’m having the same problem.
Make sure the URL entries in your current retroarch.cfg file match those from a newly created one. The URLs were updated and I had to change mine a little while ago.
Search for these lines. Here is an example of mine:
core_updater_buildbot_assets_url = "http://buildbot.libretro.com/assets/"
core_updater_buildbot_url = "http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/windows/x86_64/latest/"
