Mess - Mame setup for macintosh emulation

Hi everyone,

Maybe someone could support to set up mame with mess. I would like to emulate the macintosh for the original prince of persia. Mess is the best emulator for that. However i dont know how to configure the mame core in order to play macintosh games.

It should be similar to this, I think, just replace the CDI stuff with old Macintosh stuff:

I'm not sure if it works with bin+cue, I tested with a CHD CD-i game. You'll need: Retroarch 1.4.0 (or above) and the main MAME core (without year tags) A CD-i game in CHD cdimono1.7z or cdimono1.zip (proper for MESS, now MAME) this file should be inside the same folder where the CHDs are, no other location will make games load and RA will crash. Treid it but I had no success. Somehow I have to setup the macintosh to load hfs files. Tried this tutorial, but the setup in retroarch is a little bit different. especially to place the files is a challenge. Autoloading HSF would be the next challenge.
