Playlist issues

Hello

I just discovered retroarch and I have some problems with neogeo emulation, but for me the problem does not come from the core.

The roms have all been scanned and imported in a playlist, they work almost all from the playlist. But some of them do not work (Failed to load the content, not sur of the translation).

However, these few “non-functional” roms work perfectly from “loading content”, using the same core as for the playlist …

Is there a way for all the roms to work from the playlist ?

Retroarch 1.7.7 Final Burn Neo v0.2.97.44 Windows 10 64bit

Thank you in advance

If you can get a log of a failure we can try to see what’s going wrong.

To get a log, go to settings > user interface and set ‘show advanced options’ to ON, then go to settings > logging and set ‘logging verbosity’ to DEBUG and ‘log to file’ to ON.

  • Open rom via playlist : KO
  • then open from load Content : OK, work fine.

Strange thing (not in the log, but can reproduce easily):

  • opening retroarch first, then directly open via “load content” : KO
  • quit retroarch, relaunch then, load core, then load content : work fine

hmm, our best guess is that there’s a case mismatch:

[INFO] Using content: D:\Jeux\emulation\roms\Mame\Bstars2.zip.

[INFO] Using content: D:\Jeux\emulation\roms\mame\bstars2.zip.

and that’s causing it to not find the file properly…?

Ok, thanks for the info…

so :

  • path corrected in playlist
  • rom name corrected in playlist

Test rom works fine from playlists

I’m going to check complete playlists to be sure

PERFECT

Playlist corrected, and everything works fine now.

I don’t know why some have a upper case in the name (folder name and rom name), but I believe it’s my fault. (I’ve change folder name, but playlists had the correct name for 95% of roms)

Thanks for your help

(sorry for my english :yum:)

Now…next core and next playlist…
