So I spend like 8 hours playing a game on the wonderswan emulator. I hit save and exit, tried to continue prior to closing the app, it loaded up fine. I had to go to molecular shell to do something and it closed retroarch. I try to go into the game again and it starts from the beginning. I attempted to do save states in hopes it’ll be a workaround method to save the game, but that also does not work…
How would I save my game, and is there a particular way to do it for this emulator?
You have to exit using the ‘quit retroarch’ option from the menu or it never writes the srm saves to disk.

is it normal for it to lag when I try to restart the game? It would start and the controls wouldn’t work for a bit

This DOES NOT work for me. I set Auto Save State and Auto Load State to ON. Started to play a SNES game. Pressed Start and Select to get to the menu. Quit Retroarch. RE-Opened Retroarch, re-loaded the game and it starts from the beginning!
