Crackling sound?

it’s a pretty heavy core. You may be experiencing small frame drops.

If you hit the spacebar to disable vsync, does your game speed up or stay the same? If it stays the same, that means it’s already running as fast as it can. If it speeds up, there must be something else going on that’s causing the crackles.

It happened to me at some point. Do you have an NVIDIA video card? I fixed most of my crackling sound and image tearing by setting the default “let each program decide” setting for 3D applications. Check your video refresh rate on RetroArch’s video settings too.

I’m having the same sound issues. My grafics card is set to let 3d apps deside. When I press the space bar the game does speed up thought.

This seams to have fixed my crackling sound that I was having. I was running RA in 3440x1440 which is native for my pc and when I changed to 1920x1080@60Hrz sound problem was gone.
