I just updated RetroArch to the latest version after getting a report that netplay was not working in the last release…
Netplay is now fixed, I added support for video and audio filters back (and actually compiled them), and included support for yet another core, which is a fork of Genesis Plus GX that supports MSU-MD games (Megadrive/Genesis games with a new CD Audio soundtrack)… Coming soon on the buildbot!

@QcSamuel what jailbreak are you using? Just curious. System info is working for me on the tvos end 14.2 checkra1n, dont have ios 14 but works on 13.5.
@Weedy_Weed_Smoker thanks for the update, and that genesis core will be nice. Quick question, is the mixer not working? Also, on tvos any one else get the column of garbage pixels at the very right when metal is used over gl for some cores?
@Trebrick I think something like “native ffmpeg support” should be enabled at compile time for the mixer to work – but enabling it makes compilation fail for now…
@Weedy_Weed_Smoker ah ok no biggie hopefully it will compile one day. That also keep the visualizer from working in ffmpeg?
@Trebrick I don’t know for sure, I will try to compile a macOS version without native ffmpeg support to see if that’s the case on my Mac too…

Just tried the new genesis msu core with this. Works great!
If only genplusgx did softpatching like blastem… though not sure blastem supports msu-md

@Weedy_Weed_Smoker with the RetroArch team revamping their infrastructure / build cycle, at what point is it worth you just seeing if your changes can be incorporated into the main libretro team build cycle and can just be run to make what is in essence the official IPA file?
@TyroneSlothrop YoshiSuga already does that whenever a new stable version is released…
It’s been quite a while though (five months now that we’ve been on 1.9.0), the infrastructure changes must indeed be a beast to implement…
