Question about gpu hard sync

I know that the gpu hard sync can help reduce input lag when v-sync is on, or so I hear. I am not really a technical genius so I don’t really know which setting is best.

Lets just say if you have performance to spare and your looking for the best effect which setting would give the best option for gpu hard sync. Is higher or lower better; essentially should i set it to 3 frames or 0.

0, I believe.

0 is lowest-latency, but it’s really straining to the system timing wise. 1 frame is a good compromise if 0 fails.
