Retroarch and mapping Xbox 360 Wireless controller

Apologies if this is the wrong area.

I have set up Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher. All works fine (apart from a few Mega Drive Roms not being recognised).

I have a bit of an issue with the game GoldenEye on the N64 and it’s controls. No matter what control style I choose from within the game menu I can’t seem to set up the left stick (move) and right stick (look) independently of one another. I have bound all the buttons and analog sticks from within the Retroarch > Input menus but have a feeling I need to do some extra customisation here. I’m not sure if I have to use Keymapper or edit a particular .cfg file. I’m a little lost.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Many thanks for any help in advance.
David

Goldeneye isn’t a modern 2-stick FPS, so it wasn’t really designed around doing such a thing, but you may be able to hack something together like this:

Thank you for the link. I’ll check it out.

Just wanted to say thank you for the link. I managed to follow the guide and am not playing Goldeneye using both sticks!

Cheers
