When I go to the Documentation for Cores I see Retroarch Cheats and Native Cheats Listed with Tick or Cross but I don’t know the Difference between the 2.
So I am asking what is the Difference?

Correct me if I’m wrong but my understanding is that some cores can use the same cheat format as their standalone version. These are native cheats. The retroarch cheats use the same format across different cores and can be downloaded within the retroarch frontend.
Hope this helps!
So how could I use a Cheat Database like for example Project 64 and BSNES uses. Would work on Retroarch?
I think the Retroarch Cheats are the ones that end in .cht?
