1.3.6 pcengine cd crash

When I attempt to load any pcengine cd games via the mednafen pce core retroarch crashes. It either gets a C++ error or just a general windows-type “not responding” crash. I have a BIOS in place and it appears as “present” in the options menu. TG16 games appear to work just fine.

error log text is only: “terminate called after throwing an instance of ‘int’”

I’m sure this has probably been covered before but I couldn’t seem to find it. A link to any relevant threads would be appreciated.

If your images are cue + bin + WAV that crashes atm.

Thanks for the info Tatsuya. My entire library is in that format. Is there a format to which i could convert my library that won’t crash it?

I don’t know if this will work, but try converting to ISO

[ul] [li]Download IZarc https://www.izarc.org/downloads [/li][li]Open the BIN with IZarc [/li][li]Tools > Convert CD Image > ISO [/li][/ul]

No external audio if you go lossless, or cue + bin + ogg works fine and save a lot of space.

oh its just a matter of WAV support? simple enough to convert to ogg and mass edit my cue sheets. thanks for the help, man. are MP3’s supported?
