1.7.3 and black screen - mupen64 core

Hi guys,

I’ve updated 1.7.1 to 1.7.3, clear install. After update I downloaded mupen64 core opengl and I tried to start mario64. Sadly I see only black screen without any response.

Win 10 latest bulid, latest goreforce drivers.

Last time I have a black screen, I disable rewind option and it works

Rewind option? Where it is?

in settings, frame throttle,rewind, rewind enable :off

Not sure if it will help you, I had the same problem (or I think, the game was running fine and I could use the controls, just plain black screen), the problem was because of the shaders I used for Mupen64 core. Be sure to disable your shaders first if it’s similar.

Ok but I done clean install. So shaders are disabled?

It should be.

Is the game running in the background (intro, sound effects, controls) or you get nothing at all ? Perhaps check your video parameters in Retroarch (what’s the video driver used ?), or the plugins loaded in mupen…
