1.8.4 Controllers

OK… Just wondering what the latest advice is here for gamepad issues.

I’m using a Fire TV box (2nd gen 4k. Not the dangle dongle one) with a PS4 controller. Controller works fine in the menus etc and I can get it to work (most of the time) in the Retroarch menus. However, when adding a keyboard or additional bluetooth controller (even pressing a button when they’re connected) disconnects the PS4 controller. The controller is seen as an Android Gamepad. It is only seen as a PS4 wireless controller when I plug it in (and then, it doesn’t work)… I don’t think there are any other options in the Device Index options - and when I do try to see what is there, I get locked out and can’t natigate the menus due to not being able to use a keyboard (again, keyboard works inside Firetv android)… I’m wondering whether I should persist with this (would be very handy to get working) or ditch the fireTV and get another android box (please say it ain’t so)…

It’s all about the controllers… Not sure whether you can fix the keyboard to its own Input port?

Many thanks
