Sega MegaTech is one I have always wanted to try and tackle. It’s proving to be a pain. Here is how it looks so far…

This is off topic, but a few folks have asked me to share some of what I have been working on lately for my arcade set up. This is for a niche within a niche, but my daughter and friends really love playing Pump It Up but using hands instead of feet, which is a really simple but still addictive rhythm game experience. I’d set it up originally with a controller from IST Mall and a TV, but wanted to do something that fits more into the arcade feel so I put together some custom artwork based on an arcade cabinet that only was released in S. Korea. I traced the control panel and put together something similar to the Fiesta release of Pump It Up for the marquee, along with some custom side and front artwork from various sources.

The cabinet itself is a “Hero” model from GameRoomSolutions and I was really happy with the overall quality and ease of the build for this thing. Anyway, here’s the final product:

Turned out great! I love the carpet equally as the cabinet. I was thinking of ordering my vertical cabinet through that company. Happy to hear you comment on the good quality.

I spent a lot of time cleaning up the art for this.

A couple different versions for the Sega MegaTech cabinet shown here. The darker one is more like the original. The one with the lighter bezel is more of just a concept I threw together. I will pack them both incase anyone likes the concept version.

Almost done with about 4 or 5 different overlays… Star Wars Battlepod, Mario Kart GP DX, Terminator Salvation. Genesis Kiosk and this one.

I added a few more variations  Here is the download link!

^Edited above post with the download link

Thanks AI!

So check this out!!! With the MegaTech Sega roms. You can play Sonic 2 separated on both screen! Just blew my mind lol!

Actually, now that I think about it. I think this would work with the normal rom too. I think it’s Megabezel doing the work here to separate the 2 screens that the game has split. In mame, i can choose to split the screen, but it gives me the generic menu on top for megatech. If i dont split the screen. I see the gameplay like i have in the video.

@HyperspaceMadness what do you think on this ^

Here is the download for the Genesis Kiosk. I have two versions. One has a lit controller area which apparently was the way it looked on display.
