7z ps1 games

All ps1 games that I download for ps1 from coolrom are 7z they crash on all the ps1 emus how do I get them to load? Should I find a different site where the files aren’t 7z? Thanks in advance

Not supported, you need to load cue+bin images, just extract the 7z

Is it possible to extract it from an iPad cuz I really don’t want to have to take this to a computer but if I have to I can

If you want to save some space you can compress the BIN/ISO files with: PopstationGUI to convert the isos into eboot.PBP files.

Just remember to rename your eboot.PBP to the game proper name.

I extracted it using iZip and opened it in Retroarch but it still failed to load

That is almost always a permissions and/or BIOS issue. It can also be related to malformed cue sheets–which were often created on case-insensitive file systems–but that is less common.

If you havea 64bit iOS device PSX ReARMed is not gonna work.
