About the RetroArch category

RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players.

It enables you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through its slick graphical interface. Settings are also unified so configuration is done once and for all.

In addition to this, you are able to run original game discs (CDs) from RetroArch.

RetroArch has advanced features like shaders, netplay, rewinding, next-frame response times, runahead, machine translation, blind accessibility features, and more!

Hi there. I had RetroArch running on my smart tv but it’s now disappeared from the apps and when I go to download it, it goes to install then disappears. It’s like it doesn’t want to run anymore? Any idea why this could be happening?

Where can I post of about my problem? I am trying to use the Vulkan driver in Retroarch. But it crashes if I try to run any game that way (all I can use is glcore; but that has minor issues). I am running Retroarch via WINE on Linux because there is a tool (https://github.com/Legend-of-Dragoon-Modding/Dragoon-Modifier) that I use for a game. And that tool is only for Windows.

This doesn’t directly answer your question, but have you tried the swanstation core? Its GL/Core renderer should be in-line with its vulkan renderer (which, in turn, is comparable to that of beetle-psx’s), unlike beetle-psx’s GL/Core renderer, which has significantly more issues than that core’s vulkan renderer.

Funny how you should say that:

As you can see, that isn’t an option here. I have to have it set to Beetle PSX HW. Otherwise, this Dragoon Modifier Tool doesn’t attach. But I can try. I just wonder if I could stick to Beetle HW.

Hello Is there any way I can get access to upload new cover arts for the games that don’t have any I love retroarch and I would love to help make it even better

Yes, you can submit them to the appropriate repo here: https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails/

via a “pull request”

It is illegal and not supported here.
