Adding a Leftstick option to all other overlays

Hi,

First of all i would like to thank the persons responsible for the n64 and dualshock overlays! What a amazing work you guys did! Really i can’t thank you enough!

Secondly would like to ask if is possible to replace some dpads from overlays like snes, psx, gba and etc… With the Leftstick Analog from the Dualshock overlay. IMO the onscreen Analog is much more responsive and intuitive them the static dpad.

I’m trying to do it myself but so far my overlay is all blank… So any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I was messing with it, shouldn’t be too hard.

If you want to help, A good place to start is here http://www.libretro.com/index.php/wiki/ … iguration/

Thanks for the link.

I was reading the “example” overlay. But is still kinda of a puzzle for me.

So far i manage to make the overlay shows and act alright. But the “analog” command is not recognized as a dpad on SNES cores. So is still not giving me movement on the games.

Maybe i should use the right/left/up/down as empty boxes?..

You set the Analog D-Pad option in RGUI to Left Stick I guess https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/149 … nshot4.png

Ok will try that

Nope still is not being detected. Maybe I need to add blank buttons behind the stick overlay…

If it works next step is learn how to add that “+” thing like in the N64 overlay so that in one overlay you have a option for dpad and analog stick.

Here is the test overlay in case someone want to help: Snes-Stick

My flat overlays may suit your needs. There is a basic set and plays like a snes controller and has a switchable dpad for left analog on the fly.

If anything, you can rip off my CFGs.

Thanks man i will take a look at it :D!
