I’m new to the board and Retroarch, but I have a (probably) simple question.
I’m using a GPD XD, and I want to add the GW Core to Retroarch. I downloaded it off the site, but I’m not sure where it’s supposed to go or how to install it. I don’t see it available on the list of cores to install.
Get it from the online updater instead. It will go right where it needs it.
FYI, though, cores live in /data/data/com.retroarch/cores (need root to access it). You can change your core directory to something user-writeable in settings > directories but dynamic libraries often can’t be loaded from external storage, so don’t put it on your SD card.
Ah geez, I didn’t notice it on the list the first few times I looked. Thanks for the info
