All N64 Cores Crashing on run in Android

I got a Retroid Pocket 3+ running RA 1.21.0 that used to handle N64 games just fine on an older RA build, but now won’t launch any game on any of the three N64 cores. Frankly I’m a little stumped since this doesn’t seem to be a common problem enough to fix on my own with Googling.

Essentially any N64 game will crash to the home screen, and I can’t seem to be able to even open the core to adjust settings. I managed to get a log (I think) of trying to run the GLES3 version (but it looks like I can’t upload files here, boooo). My standalone M64plus app runs things just fine, so it’s not my files that are dodgy.

If anyone has insight into what I need to fix, I’d be very grateful to get back to playing my Banjo hacks again!

Can confirm that GLES3 and Parallel cores work fine on my android phone, so I’m not sure what it is about the Retroid 3+ that’s preventing the cores from even launching.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the cores, and no dice.

I have a .bin log file to share, if someone could direct me to how share that in here with y’all.

Apparently, the solution is to delete all my overrides!

Now to set everything up again and see what borked it…

I had the same issue and it was because I had “polling behaviour” set to early in the input settings, setting it to normal fixed it. I don’t even really know what it does but I thought it was a good thing to set it on early lol.
