Alternative Key Mappings

I’m having trouble setting up my controller to use two different inputs for the same button. In two button systems, I want the B button to be B and X, so that I can play games like Mario without holding my thumb at a weird angle. I don’t want to always be X though, I still want B to work. I’m not sure how to set the option in the config file, because I just see “B_button_btn=” and room for one argument. Do I need a comma or something to get the second button in?

Thanks.

P.S. This is the best emulator for Windows. It is the only emulator that properly supports a CRT/NTSC filter for PSX without hours of brain-bending configuration (how do people play PSX without an NTSC filter??). Great job to those keeping the Windows port going, it is much appreciated.

Binds are currently 1:1 with no way to do 2:1 or 1+1:1 or 1:*. It would be a nice feature, though.

Thanks for the reply.

It would be a good feature for sure, but in the interim, wouldn’t it be simpler to just implement X,B 2:1 hard binded to B on NES, GB/C, etc, and other systems where the Y and X buttons are unused?

ETA: I posted a feature request in the general forum relating to this issue http://www.libretro.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1557
