Android 7800b jdx

II have fully configured retroarch with nightly and using emulationstation as my front end in windows works pretty flawless, save for some core related issues. Now I’m trying to replicate all that work on my android tablet. Perhaps I dont know android well enough, but I can only get the stable to work because it includes cores, as I have no idea were retroarch puts the files on install? I looked everywhere. If I can find the location my handheld will be great

Android nightlies don’t come with cores, you have to download the ones you want via the core manager.

Thanks so you are saying there is no way to put them in like a flat file, as you have to use the retroarch gui to download the cores? I guess I just like being able to see my files, alas android does not work this way?

You can download all the cores from the latest folder on the build bot. Then, point retroarch to where you downloaded them. It’s just more practical to use the manager to only download the cores you need though.
