There is an option to change the core folder in the Android version of retroarch’s folder settings, but there is no way to save this option. Every time I press the exit key to save it. Yes, this is known behavior. Android will not load dynamic libraries (which core files are) from other locations. We should probably hide the option to avoid confusion, but for the meantime just know that it doesn’t work.
