Any Way To Record Stably?

I noticed the desktop has game recording but the android does not. Does anyone know of a way I can record from my phone in a stably way? I tried my phones built in screen recorder but it gets choppy while recording & has brief moments of recording smoothly. The game will studder in a slow motion with all the sound & briefly it records normal.

I want to be able to record on my phone to upload videos to zapstream showing off some games. Then one day maybe be able to livestream to zapstream while playing. That would be a dream to be able to.

Also if anyone knows of any android apps that can easily allow you to edit a video in cropping, start/end times, & convert it to a gif. That would be greatly appreciated. Bonus kudos if it’s an open source app!

Same here. I have recorded a few videos from the Android phone here, not directly on the phone, but with it plugged in a PC, OBS and screencopy. I’ve tried a few dedicated video apps from Fossdroid, but ended up using scrcpy instead.

Scrcpy is for displaying your android on pc. I might as well use retroarch desktop to record it then. I was hoping someone might know of a good android app I guess. I tried one called ace’s screen recorder & that didn’t come out smooth either.
