Anyfix for the 360 version where you can't map keys?

I can’t set the Retro B key to X on the controller it doesn’t give me that option is there a workaround for this?

Wait for the next version (0.9.9) which will have working key mapping on 360.

The next version won’t take too long from now to release - perhaps another week or so and then we’re ready.

The release is simultaneous on other platforms, right (including the Wii port)?

Of course. That is why it is taking so long.

Excellent, keep up the hard work! Oh, but I did have one more question for RetroArch Wii’s Snes core; I recall seeing that themaister made some game hacks for Seiken Denesetsu 3 and Kirby’s Dreamland 3 (i.e. pseudo hi-res working at full speed, etc). Will that be implemented in 0.99?

Square you mean?

Seiken Densetsu 3 outputs in 512x224 now yes for the scenes that need it and runs at fullspeed now.

Kirby’s Dreamland 3 has a higher FPS now in pseudo hi-res scenes but there are still dips to 57fps whenever there is ‘water’ in a scene. I can try if I can find some speedhacks for that but so far I have not really found anything that could work.

Also, maister doesn’t really do any console work - and certainly not speedhacks like this - in fact, I doubt he’d even like putting in such ‘hacks’. I do it mainly because I care about having these games playable on these old consoles and because these speed hacks scale well across mobile and other ‘low-powered’ devices at this point - so the initial investment is well worth it IMHO.

Oops. My bad :stuck_out_tongue:

Makes sense. Not sure how Nintendo did it on the VC, but they had to have made one helluva speed hack to get Kirby’s Dreamland 3 to run full speed. I look forward to it!
