I tried 3 different cores and controller settings and the game doesn’t seem to register the dpad or the analog stick. The action button works but you can’t go left or right. It’s weird because all other games work fine. I know this game is compatible with a special dial controller or something but shouldn’t it also work with a standard controller?
@GemaH i remember seeing an issue about this last year, on retropie forum iirc, but i don’t remember in details how the author solved it, neither the core he used (it was a story about p2 device type iirc), worst case scenario you can use FBNeo : it’s “plug’n’play”.

Thanks, it was the player 2 controller configuration for some reason. I had to select “standard controller” for that player. Selecting it for the 1st player didn’t do anything.
iirc the special dial had to be plugged in second port for wiring reasons, so maybe they decided to ignore the first port altogether
