Hey everyone,
So I’ve been playing with the MAME core again today (mame_libretro) and after updating to the newest nightly I can finally save the general controls for my arcade games!
So, Arcade games work great now on that core… but I’m also using the core to run Neo Geo CD games. (Bootscreen FTW) The games all run great, and all is well right? No… no it is not.
While MAME is now saving my controls for arcade games in “W:\Games\Arcade\MAME\mame\cfg\default.cfg” as it is my rom directory, the same settings are not being saved in “W:\Games\Consoles\SNK Neo Geo CD”!
I tried copying the “\mame\cfg” directory to my Neo Geo CD folder, but it still didn’t take. Even after I set the inputs again.
What’s the trick to get the MAME core to save controls for non arcade systems?
