I’installed the arcade (mame - current) core.
How do we know what mame version is used in this core in order to download the correct mame roms?
If you load the core and then look in the bottom-left corner of the screen, it should tell you the version number of the core, like this:
I tried several sources but it does not tell me the range of what MAME Romset versions are compatible with the current MAME 0.230. And I already searched for a while from the github and the official site.

I just found this link to the DAT’s repo https://www.progettosnaps.net/dats/MAME/
The latest romset I found is “MAME 0.228 ROMs (Merged)”.
