Against my better judgement (since it uses a number pad) I decided to setup Arcadia 2001 using the MAME core. I tried to setup the controls on my xbox pad but am having some difficulty. Is anyone using a similar setup successfully?
Same for Colecovision, and Super Cassette Vision.

I have struggled with this for years and the bottom line is there is no easy way to play consoles that use keypads. Couple that with overlays they use…just doesn’t go well.
You could go through games and filter which ones that don’t use the keypads or map the keypad functions that really matter in the games to your controller but that’s up to you. I just removed them from my set up.
While I knew this was the case, I just needed to hear it from someone else. I deleted them. Thanks.
