I have a modded version of Super Mario 64 (Super Mario 64 Plus) which only runs on PC. I’m trying to launch that as a RetroArch game. Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to launch it from a core. I’ve tried DOSBox but this isn’t a DOS program, it’s a Windows program. Any ideas?
The only way to do this currently would be to modify the dolphin/pcsx2 launcher core(s) to launch that game instead. RetroArch doesn’t support launching anything but libretro cores on its own.

You best bet would be to use a 3rd party front end for launching everything. Most mature front ends have existing support for both RA and Windows games.
That’s unfortunate, because I like the RetroArch UI. I’ll try come up with something. Thanks.
Would it be possible to write a core to launch a batch file on my PC?

I believe that is what hunterk was pointing to. It is a Linux bash script launcher.

What would be cool is if this could be used to enable CRT Shaders to be applied to Windows games.
