Bind "Exit" to Hotkeys?

Is there a way to bind hotkeys to exit retroarch? I know you can set one button, but I’d like to set a combination such as the one to bring up the menu (L+R+Down+Y)

no, the closest thing you can do is map the “enable hotkeys” hotkey, which makes RetroArch stop listening for hotkeys altogether unless/until you hold down the enabler. So, for example, you could set ‘select’ as your hotkey enabler and then start as your menu shortcut and ‘start’ would continue doing its normal retropad function unless you were holding down select, at which point it would go to the menu.

Hmm that might be good enough, I could do Start+Select since I don’t know of any game that needs that combo.

Link’s Awakening uses Start+Select+A+B to get to the save screen. You could use savestates instead of saving in game though.

That’s what I do anyways so it shouldn’t be an issue.
