Bluemsx CORE not working with Coleco rooms

So…tried to get colecovision working.

Can’t so far ;-p

Anyhow, tried to put the bluemsx c-bios from the standalone installer INTO the system folder. Crashes when I select a coleco rom.

Also, tried to put a coleco bios rom into the retroarch system folder. Still nothing.

The wiki instructions for this core and very vague.

I consider the addition of ColecoVision a HUGE step forward for this release given its cult history and one whose time has finally come.

Anyone else have luck with this?

I’m sure it works (I hope haha) but I feel like I’m missing something simple here. Any help is appreciated! :slight_smile:

ColecoVision support for that core hasn’t been hooked up yet, it’ll always assume it’s loading a MSX game at the moment.

Very likely, but I don’t think it’s high on the ToDo list. I’ve noticed there wasn’t an open issue report of this, so I created one myself. https://github.com/libretro/blueMSX-libretro/issues/8
