Button Overlay in Menu needs to be set every time

Hello,

Every time I open Retroarch I need to go into Settings > Onscreen Overlay and set the option “Hide Overlay In Menu” to off.

This option does not get saved or remembered so I need to do that part every time I start the program

How can I save that option as a preference?

It should remember it if you’re exiting cleanly. Try going in and setting it and then just quitting through the ‘quit retroarch’ option on the main menu. Then relaunch and see if it stuck.
