So this is strange. Retroarch and the various cores work great for everything. I use my 360 controller with no issues. I use my Qanba Q4 with no issues.
Until… I get to the Mednafen PSX core and try and play Symphony of the Night. Nothing works in it. At all. The core loads the game up and sits there on the title screen teasing me with… “Press Start Button.” Great. I press it on controllers. Nothing. I press it on keyboard. Nothing. It is like the core doesn’t care.
I hit F1 to go back to the rGui… great. I can move around, select stuff, etc. Go back to the Mednafen core. Nothing.
What’s going on? This makes little sense for me.
The output window says it is using “Selected Controller Type 5” and later on, “PS-X Control PAD Driver Ver 3.0” for the core–I swear this was working a while back but have no idea what has gone wrong.
Any ideas?
I’m using the Windows 64-bit implementation and have Windows 7 64-bit.
