In Retroarch the search bottom is assigned to either / on a keyboard or Y on a controller. I’m setting up Retroach on an android meaning no keyboard so fin I can use Y on a controller the problem is when playing N64 games I use the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller and it does not have any Y button at all. This means when playing N64 games and trying to search through my list of N64 roms I can’t access the search. My first though was to go to Input -> Hotkeys but there is no option at all the reassign the search button for some reason.
Solved my own problem while y = search bar seems to be hardcoded you can just reassign what physical button = y in the retropad binds
