Cannot get ps3 or any android gamepad to work with nightly build

I may be missing the joystick config directory. So what is the path on the android for this I am having a hard time finding any of the retroarch files that were installed?

It works fine with build 1.0.0.2 stable

Never mind I figured it out needed root permisions on file explorer es it is in data/data/ directory just used stable version with updated core game works fine with ps3 controller.
