Cannot see controller on screen (N64)

After a countless amount of times, I have finally gotten Ocarina of Time to work, I cannot see the controller for N64. I’m a noob, and a first-timer, so please don’t judge. Sorry I forgot to put this in title this is for iOS 9.0.2

Let me help you! What you need to do, is open retroarch, press on the swithc button at the top left and on main menu go to - Online Updater - press on update overlay! Wait until they download. Now on the bottom, you will see 3 icons or 3 black blocks, you have to prees the last one from left to right, and it will take you to settings tab. Once in there, go to onscreen overlay - gamepads or ipad depending what are u using, and select N64 - N64.cfg

I just found that out. Thx anyways. I was also wondering if there is a way to reduce the controller size.
