Can't access any LibRetro related site from the Wii U's browser

Don’t know if this might be somewhat out of place in here, but could anyone tell me how to access Libretro.com from the Wii U’s browser? I keep getting Error 112-1035 when trying to enter, it has been like this since a few days back. Did they change security or something?

They explain there that I couldn’t enter the site anymore due to the SSL Certificate they recently used for the site, but I’m unsure if LibRetro has done the same, and if so, how would I go about entering the site again from the Wii U?

Oh so it was actually done because of SSL certificates? What is the letsencrypt CA thing you mention?

Bumping this thread to ask if this has been touched upon. I use to browse almost entirely on my Wii U’s browser and I can’t enter any LibRetro site at all due to the new SSL certificate.

Is there some link or anyway in which I could access?

For example, Starmen.net’s official link to their Forum is: https://forum.starmen.net/forum

And from my Wii U i can access it by using the following link: https://secure.fangamer.com/forum/

With that link i can now access the Buildbot page without problems from the Wik U :slight_smile: However, I’m still unable to enter the main Libretro page and the Forums wkth that link.

Sorry for the bump.

A user form GBATemp managed to inject root certs into the Wii U’s browser, and I got in talks with him about debugging the issue related to the Wii U’s browser not accessing certain sites like LibRetro (and its related sites) and Starmen.net’s Forums as well.

From his tests, it seems like the issue is not related to the SSL certificates themselves, but rather the SSL cipher suite:
