I’m going crazy trying to get the correct mame romset working with the mame_stable_libretro.so core. How can I find out what version I’m running?
When you load the core, it should say in the bottom-left corner of the menu, something like MAME 2010 0.139. You can also check the information > core information and it should have the version number there, as well.
Uh… I put the version of this core in the packaging number, you can see clearly with Synaptic… you can see it in the Load Core too… and it’s in the left bottom side of XMB too…
I think I’ll drop this core in the stable PPA, and put mame2014 and mame git from testing ppa.
