Can't find latest MAME core?

I’ve been trying to download MAME 0.219 and cannot figure out how or where to find it. From what I’ve googled, it seems like people are able to download an ‘Arcade (MAME)’ core directly through RetroArch, but the newest thing I can see is ‘Arcade (MAME 2016)’, even when I enable experimental cores through the network menu. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a place I can just download the core manually?

It hasn’t been on the online updater for a while because it takes forever to compile and it was tying up our servers. So, we moved the building over to github’s servers, and you can download builds from there: https://github.com/libretro/mame. I also mirror those links at https://github.com/hunterk/libretro_builds where you can click on the banners on the front page to download.

Cool, thanks! GitHub kind of confuses me and I’m not sure if there’s a way to go back to older versions, but I figured out how to download 0.226, so hopefully that will work with my set.

On another note, I noticed DeSmuME in that build list. Should I download the latest build through that link or can I still get it through the online updater?

if it’s back on the online updater, it should be the same, i think. I only started making builds of cores that weren’t on the updater.
