Can't get 8BitDo NES30 Pro to work with RetroArch

OS: Windows 8.1 x64 Retroarch: 1.7.7 Windows x86_64

Gamepad: 8BitDo NES30 Pro (old model), firmware: 4.10, connected to PC via bluetooth.

RetroArch shows message “Xbox Bluetooth Gamepad not configured”. If I try to map keys manually in User 1 Input settings, thab RetroArch stops responding to any keyboard keys (Esc, arrows stop working), I have to use Alt+F4 to quit RetroArch.

Gamepad works fine, all buttons work as expected in Windows control panel.

I have the same problem. My model is the SNNE30 (old model)… It stopped work suddenly…

@cetygamer Try updating to a nightly build. There is a known bug with v1.7.7 that can cause the behavior you describe. It’s been fixed in the nightlies, though.

Hi, @hunterk. I tried nighty build, result is the same. Also, the gamepad works fine in RetroArch if I connect it via USB cable. 8BitDo can connect to Windows via USB or Bluetooth. When it is connected via Bluetooth it seems to be using default Microsoft Xbox Gamepad driver, although input method is still dinput.

Can you try using some other pairing modes and see if they treat you any better?
