Cant get my moga pocket to work

Hello.

I am VERY new to the emulation scene and just installed retroarch for the first time. I got my paths setup, roms put in and I can start games just fine and I can see the intros for the games but I cant get my moga controller to work at all.

I installed moga pivot and set it up, I installed the moga vk, and I installed moga universal driver. They are all the latest versions from the play store.

I cant seem to figure out how to get my moga to work or be recognized. I am stupid when it comes to this so I was hoping maybe someone could give me step by step instructions on how to do it. Ive tried googling it and watching youtube videos but something is wrong because I cant seem to do it, and what I found wasn’t retroarch for dummies.

Thank you.

If you’re using the version from the Play store, you can try setting up manual binds in the Android (read: non-in-game) menu and binding those buttons there.

If you use (or switch to) a development build–such as one of lordashram’s from this thread–you should be able to do manual button binding through the in-game RGUI input menu.

I appreciate the response but as I said I am new to this. I have idea what you were trying to tell me to do.
