I can’t load state slots on the snes9x current core. the option wasn’t there when i wanted to load them.
any other core works fine.
any help would be appriciated. well, maybe.
Do you have achievements + hardcore mode enabled? That’s the only thing I know of that blocks the state options.

something similar happens to me, but with native saves from snes9x. I can’t get to convert between save formats
