Hi… I got same gamepad configuration issues on ps vita… Should I look for retroarch. Cfg as well? After New installation and first entry into retroarch… Menu is there and can’t be navigated at all… What should I do?
Hi, i’m struggling with thr same problem with retroarch on an Arcade1up cabinet. Its an android machine basically, and retroarch x32 for android, doesn’t seem to recognize any input correctly so i cannot configure the joystick or anything else.
I tried different keyboards, different pads (steam, dualsense, xbox, dualshock 4) and no luck at all. When i enter in the retroarch menu the arrows or the buttons doesnt work
Robot0/0 not configured fallback Keyboard xxxxnamexxx not configurrd fallback
The pad like ds4 or ds5 are configured in port xxx but they dont work.
Any help?
I don’t know the answer, so here’s an educated guess: for starters, use a USB keyboard (no wireless dongles) to see if you can navigate through RetroArch. If you’re successful, try going into Online Updater > Update Controller Profiles and download the latest profiles. You can also mess with Settings > Drivers and the options for “input” and “controller” (restart RetroArch after changing each one).
Just a heads-up: words like Windows, Linux, Mac, Android are all vague. Just like saying you and me are clones just because we share the definition of “human”. From what I know, Arcade1up cabinets are Android-based, but not as fully-featured and flexible as a modern smartphone would be. They’re built to play the games they come with, only that. People have trouble modding that device, so it won’t be smooth sailing.
