Can't save game

As per the title…I cant seem to save my PSX game progress.

Firstly I used to use RetroArch on my iPad 2 iOS 7.1.1, everything worked fine, I saved my progress in-game, then exited the app by selecting Close Module or Core (or whatever).

I copied the contents of the .RetroArch folder (from my iPad 2), which meant all settings/saves/savestates would transfer over so I could carry on my progress on my iPhone or new iPad Mini.

Now on my iPad Mini Retina iOS 7.1.2, I cant save my progress anymore. Ive tried saving in-game, then exiting the RetroArch app properly, but when i go back in to the app/game, my save game is still the same as it was (when I last saved on my iPad 2)

Its fuckin annoying now :confused:

Which core are you using?

I suspect a permissions issue.

Using the non-jailbroken core, because the default psx core doesnt work on iOS 7.1.2 on the Mini Retina :frowning:

I’ve since started a new game (deleted old save file) and it seems to save fine now

On a side note - When will we be seeing the new RetroArch update? (2.0 i think) It was slated for an early September release but havent heard anything about it, since

Some things came up that delayed it a bit, but rather than just making people wait, Squarepusher is planning to release some public beta builds with milestones and so on to tide everyone over and get some wider bugtesting.
