Cheats not working for PSX mendefen

I have finally decided to play Dragon Warrior 7 (yea i have only had it 16 yrs so why not right) . I figured since i my ps1 needs repair i chose to use retro arch 1.3.2 and medefen PS HW core to actually play it .

After reading a guide i went to http://www.codetwink.com/view-cheats…s-page-15.html

and created a .cht for Infinite Gold Infinite Coins

the format i uses was cheats = 2

cheat0_desc = “Infinite Gold” cheat0_code = “80011368 FFFF” cheat0_enable = “false”

cheat1_desc = “Infinite Coins” cheat1_code = “80011370 FFFF” cheat1_enable = “false”

I placed the game in my gameshark cht folder ,but when i go in game to enable the codes they dont work … i also have tried other codes but cannot seem to get any codes to work . does anyone else have issues using the .cht

im running windows 8.1 with retroarch 1.3.2…

The format looks correct from what I can tell, have you tried the current stable version?

I’m tried in retroarch 1.32 and 1.36 …they dont seem to work . I can go and see the codes when i go to the quick menu , one i enable them from there they dont seem to effect in any game im playing
