Multi-disc game. I wanted to know when I have a game with multiple discs (example 1,2,3) do the chd files all go to the same folder or does each disc go to a different folder?. Then to move from one disk to another maintaining and continuing the progress made in the previous disk, what should I do?

Wherever you store your disc image shouldn’t matter as long as the relative path in the m3u file is correct. Save file (meaning where you store progress) will be named after the m3u file and will be shared between all discs in the m3u file.
