Colors

Hi, I just installed the Retroarch, the latest stable release to play my good old pokemon roms for Game Boy color. I was using the VBA-M for windows, and it worked just fine, everything was coloured and beautiful. However, in retroarch it is only showing it black and white. I read somewhere about the “shades” thing, and I’ve only got the border to show up.

Can someone please help me? I do not want to go back to windows just because of this issue. On VBA I just need to select a option and everything goes coloured. Can someone point me what do I need to do this to work?

Please, helpe me. Greetings from amazon

ps: My system is now Ubuntu 16.04.1

Which core are you using? Gambatte? If so, just rename your rom from *.gb to *.gbc and it’ll colorize it.

Just Tried that and no change  using gambatte.

You also need to enable the gameboy colorization core option. Forgot to mention that.

If that doesn’t do what you want, I’m pretty sure Ubuntu has VBA packages, so you shouldn’t need to go back to Windows just for that.
