whats up with these kind of settings of hiding something and needing to learn browse and edit the cfg file to make it appear again? considering the aim of retroarch, there seems to be much manual stuff to learn to make proper use of the app.
Are you talking about settings / menu / Show advanced settings?
These are designed to allow for a “kiosk” mode. That is, it hides the settings tab so no one (e.g., kids, visitors, etc.) can modify them once you have it set up the way you want it.
its a misplaced setting then, considering if this was meant for “kiosk” mode and the option to “Remove” roms from playlist is still there.
