Im having issues getting the Japan version of Contra working with QuickNES and Nestopia cores, as soon as i load the rom i get a message that it failed to load. I have tried 2 different downloads of the rom and get the same issue, is the Japan version know it have compatibility issues?
Dunno why it wouldn’t work with QuickNES but for Nestopia, put the NSTDatabase.xml in your ‘system’/BIOS directory.

I’ve put that xml into system dir and still not working,black screen,any ideas on this?
